Position: Teacher Trainer (Teacher’s Professional Development Unit, Karkhana)

Salary: NPR 19,550 per month (for first 3 months, with review and increment after reflection period)

- 15 Days – Trial & Learning: Experience Karkhana’s culture, learn our pedagogy, and explore how we work.
- 3 Months – Trainee Period: Practice designing and facilitating training while being mentored by senior creators.
- 6 Months – Probation: Take ownership, lead training sessions, and start shaping teacher learning experiences.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Design and facilitate engaging teacher workshops (both in-person and online).
- Co-create training modules, workshops, and lesson resources aligned with the national curriculum and Karkhana pedagogy.
- Partner with schools and teachers to understand their real classroom challenges.
- Document sessions, teacher feedback, and progress for continuous improvement.
- Represent Karkhana in teacher training, conferences, and events, carrying our culture of curiosity and collaboration.
- Travel across Nepal to bring hands-on, playful, inquiry-based learning experiences to teachers and schools.
What We’re Looking For (Requirements & Skills)
- Experience in designing and facilitating teacher training/workshops.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and classroom management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to connect with teachers with empathy and clarity.
- Creativity to design interactive, joyful learning activities.
- Adaptability to different classrooms and training environments.
- Problem-solving and quick decision-making during sessions.
- Comfort with online tools (Google Workspace, Zoom, Miro, etc.).
- Willingness to travel frequently across Nepal.
- A genuine passion for teacher development and hands-on, curiosity-driven learning.
Good to Have (Preferred)
- +2 or Bachelor’s degree in Science.
- Prior experience in teacher professional development projects.
- Bilingual fluency in English & Nepali.
- Some teaching experience.
- Commitment to be part of Karkhana for at least 1 year.
- Owning a personal laptop.
- Age: 22–26 preferred.
- A learning mindset and the ability to grow through feedback.
- A confident speaker who can inspire others.
