Roles and responsibilities of this job

A reputed school located at Shankarapur-06, Kathmandu is seeking young, motivated, passionate, and dedicated individuals who believe in continuous learning, professional growth, and an experiential/progressive teaching-learning approach.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered and experiential lessons appropriate to the primary level.
Teach assigned subjects, including Nepali/Samajik or English/Science, according to the school curriculum and learning objectives.
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and active participation.
Prepare effective lesson plans, teaching materials, classroom activities, and assessments.
Monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback and appropriate support.
Maintain effective classroom management and discipline while ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
Encourage students to develop critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, and independent learning skills.
Maintain regular records of students’ attendance, performance, and overall progress.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school management.
Participate actively in school events, meetings, training, workshops, and other academic and co-curricular activities.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s progressive and experiential teaching-learning environment.

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum +2 or equivalent with a clear academic record.
Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Excellent spoken English and confident communication skills.
Teaching experience in a Progressive/Experiential Education System will be highly preferred.
Passionate about teaching and committed to the academic and overall development of young learners.
Creative, enthusiastic, responsible, patient, and willing to learn and grow professionally.
Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and school management.

Subjects to be taught: (Nepali/Samajik ) and (English/Science)
