Siddha Devi Tea Estate Pvt. Ltd. is one of the leading producers of premium tea in Nepal. We have a long-standing reputation for excellence and a commitment to producing high-quality teas. Our operations span several tea estates, where we cultivate and process 100% organic, Orthodox tea varieties, exporting to international markets.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tea Garden Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our tea estates. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of tea production, from cultivation to harvest, ensuring that quality standards are met while also fostering a sustainable and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the cultivation and maintenance of tea gardens, ensuring high-quality yield.
Oversee tea harvesting, processing, and post-harvest activities.
Monitor and improve production efficiency and quality control processes.
Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely processing and packaging.
Develop and implement sustainable farming practices.
Manage a team of workers and provide training and support.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Maintain accurate records of production and other relevant activities.
Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and external stakeholders.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Qualifications & Requirements:

Master's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in tea garden management or related agricultural production.
Strong Knowledge of 100% organic, Orthodox tea production methods.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with quality control standards and certifications like ISO, Organic Certification, and other Certifications & Partnerships.
Ability to manage operations efficiently and sustainably.

Note: Contract 15-year period for the Tea Garden Manager.
