• Oversee the installation of hardware and software, followed by policy creation, testing and successful implementation
• Be responsible for running the technology infrastructures of the organization while also contributing to organizational policy quality standards and strategic planning in IT
• Ensuring the smooth running of all systems, including anti-virus software, print services, email provisions, websites etc.
• Ensuring that software licensing laws are adhered to providing secure access to the network for remote users
• Ensuring the security of data from internal and external attack
• Provide factory and corporate users with appropriate support and advice
• Managing crisis situations which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems
• Mentoring and training new staffs
• Router and Switch configuration, auditing of IP addresses, arranging scheduled upgrades, investigating faults in the network, improving the efficiency of current networks, upgrades to network equipment and data servers, designing and implementing new network solutions, linking with service engineers and project managers and solve network problems and maximize network performance
• Coordinate, oversee and execute installations and changes to the Network Infrastructure and system engineering and implementation activities, including upgrade and enhancements
• Maintaining IT security systems and administering firewalls – develop firewall policies and rule sets based on business requirements for new firewall implementations in accordance with company standards
• Monitor day-to-day operations and management for company Network infrastructure
• Configure, Troubleshoot & Maintain Company LAN and DC interconnect WAN Networks
• Undertake Network protocol configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Regular IOS Upgradation and hotfixes
• Identify opportunities and develop solutions to automate and improve efficiency of overall network infrastructure and also SAP environment
• Perform SAP Installations Parameter Updates and Upgrades
• Provide SAP HANA DBA support, including HANA DB installation and upgrade, DB maintenance, monitoring, performance tuning, DB backup and recovery
• Develop and maintain effective working relationship with SAP Application providers
• Implementation and proper operations of SAP software by following up with every department on the progress & usage of SAP
• Train others in the operation of the SAP Platform when needed
• Support and solve operational issues & problems related to SAP post implementation
• Help develop better DMBS through SQL, along with code for new modules company may desire to add to core SAP Platform
• Must have excellent communication skills, as Network Engineers must be in constant communication with all departments of the company, external partner companies, and report to the management. Able to communicate information confidently, clearly, and professionally
• Responsible for maintaining high level of employee morale, competence, a favorable working environment and creating opportunities for personnel development within the department
• Maintain corporate culture, discipline and effective communication within department and throughout the organization
• Reduces the operation cost and increases productivity in the department
• Any other duties, responsibilities and authorities as assigned by ED and HOD
