Responsibilities:

Monitor system health and identify anomalous network behavior to detect security-sensitive activities such as unauthorized access and data transfers.
Maintain the integrity, performance, and efficiency of database systems to support critical business applications, ensuring data security and compliance.
Administer and configure application and file servers to proactively detect and resolve issues, minimizing downtime.
Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
Automate processes wherever possible to improve productivity and optimize resource allocation.
Research and recommend new approaches to enhance networked computer systems.
Document processes to ensure employees can effectively operate within the IT environment.
Carry out security administration activities, including network monitoring, access management, hardware security, software licensing, patch management, and system updates.
