Job Description

Fonepay is a digital payment processor that connects consumers, banks and merchants in an interoperable network to facilitate mobile/digital payments. Fonepay is a part of the F1 Soft group, operational since 2004, a diversified Digital Financial Services (DFS) holding company. With a year of experience innovating DFS products and services, Fonepay has developed an interoperable network that connects over 50 Nepali banks and financial institutions and over 13 million customers and merchants.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor all Fonepay services with coordination with development and operation team and external stake holders
  • Deployment and support for Fonepay services
  • Automate job using tools like ansible, jenkis, gitlab etc
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues
  • Automate day to day task
  • Deployment and support of application
  • Monitor all services of Fonepay

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in Computer related studies
  • 2 -3 years’ experience in similar field

Technical Skills:

  • Experience automating repetitive operational tasks
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment practices in production systems
  • Experience with some of our basis technologies: Kubernetes, docker, Jenkins,Gitlab.
  • Experience with Linux and its command.
  • Experience supporting highly available systems running Java web applications, Tomcat, Glassfish.
  • Hands-on experience on web servers and load balancer like Nginx, Apache, Haproxy etc

  • Communicate with stakeholders to identify what they want a system to accomplish.
  • Flexibility in working hours.
  • Proactive and a Team Player.
  • Should be able to work under pressure. 
  • Persuasive in both written and verbal communication
  • Strong Analytical Skills
