USAID’s Sajedhari - Support to Federalism (STF), is to provide technical assistance to the Government of Nepal (GoN) in transition to federalism with more effective, accountable, responsive and inclusive local governance. One of the key objectives of the STF is to promote inclusive citizen participation in local decision making and public oversight.

Manage the grant making/subcontracting process including performing a past performance review, conducting elements of pre-award survey (as required)
Be responsible for Grant and/or Subcontract Solicitations or advertisement of expression of interest from the potential organizations. Sorting, file, track, and log applications received in response to Expression of Interest and/or grant solicitations
Process all necessary documentations/papers, certifications, and forms required under the regulation to awarding a grant or subcontracting to a selected applicant, including Program Descriptions with clearly established goals
Provide training to and work with technical staff to develop criteria to assess grantees’ performance.
In collaboration with the relevant technical staff; monitor the status of Subcontract expenditures.
In collaboration with the DCOP and technical staff, create a grant management plan and oversee the plan over the life of the project
In collaboration with DCOP and technical staff, identify areas in which grantees could receive targeted capacity building from the project
Ensure that all procurement processes are followed according to USAID and Abt standards
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s preferred, in Business, Management, Finance or other related field
At least 5 years of professional experience in Grants/Subcontracts Management
USAID project experience is a plus
Proven ability to work successfully in a team environment
