Relief Nepal is a non-profit making, non-governmental, non-political, social development organization of Sindhuli district. It was established in 2008 AD with the core objective of vulnerable and marginalized people especially women, children, youth and people living with marginalized condition are empowerment and participated in decision process about the issue affecting their livelihood. It has successfully implemented Livelihood, Child Rights, WASH, Education and DRR projects in five districts. In partnership with World Vision International Nepal (WVIN), Relief Nepal is implementing Integrated Protection Community Engagement and Sponsorship Plan (P-CESP) in Tinpatan, Golanjor and Phikkal Rural Municipality of Sindhuli district. We are looking for a qualified, competent, dynamic, Leadership and visionaryqualitative candidates for the effective execution of the project at field which will be carried out in partnership with World Vision International Nepal for the following position:

Sub Engineer

Job Location: Sindhuli office and Hariharpurgadhi construction site

Duration: one year with possibility of extension

Tasks:

Monitor the day to day implementation of the Toilet Construction, Water supply scheme renovation and construction to ensure that all specifications are fulfilled as provisioned in the design
Conduct on-site testing of construction materials to ensure quality as per specifications
Coordination with user groups/committee, DWACC, VWACC, District water and sanitation office, District Development office and other like-minded organization
Design and statement of toilet, water scheme maintenance and new construction
Report to the partner organization, WASH Officer and Executive Director monthly basis using standard templates
Coordination and facilitate construction-related training and orientation to sub-over shear and Worker/ labour
Coordination and mobilization of sub-over shear and Social Mobilizer

Requirements:

Minimum diploma in Civil Engineering or architecture
Minimum 2 years’ experience in supervision of WASH project.
Fluency in Nepali and English (Written and Spoken)
Proficiency using Microsoft office application
Good handling of auto-CAD software
