Tech Skills Institute is seeking a motivated and experienced Student Support Officer to join our team in Kathmandu. As a mid-level professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students and teams. As the primary point of contact for students, you will be responsible for monitoring their progress and providing them with the necessary support and guidance to ensure their success.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for students via calls, emails, WhatsApp, or other communication channels, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Monitor student progress, attendance, and performance, providing regular updates to management.
Coordinate with trainers and mentors to ensure students receive the necessary training and support.
Follow up with students on outstanding questions or concerns, providing solutions or escalating to the appropriate team member when needed.
Conduct regular check-ins to ensure student satisfaction and proactively identify potential issues.
Collaborate with the admissions team for a smooth onboarding process for new students.
Assist in organizing and facilitating workshops, events, and other learning activities.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress; prepare reports for management as required.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to provide students with relevant guidance and information.
Manage the TechSkills Learning Portal and ensure students can effectively access learning resources.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Education: Undergraduate (Bachelor’s degree)
Experience: Minimum 3 years in student support, education, or related roles

Skills and Competencies:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students effectively
Attention to detail
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle student concerns professionally
Organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple students and programs
Experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, and online collaboration tools
A proactive, student-focused approach to enhance their learning experience
Take initiative in improving the system
Excellent team player with positive attitude
Open to Feedback & constructive criticisms
