Experience Required : More than 1 year

  • Minimum 1 years' experience in the vocational education sector or in a similar role
  • Experience in working with student Management System (preferably RTO Manager) and online learning portals
  • Demonstrated understanding of the requirements for Australian Qualification Framework (AQF), RTO Standards 2018, National Code and Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS).
  • Updating RTO manager /PRISMS site with student information
  • Contact students regarding non-attendance and student fees.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working effectively within a team and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including negotiation and behaving appropriately with confidentiality when required.
  • Strong administrative management, analytical and problem solving skills in a Vocational Education setting
  • Computer literacy and skills including the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to perform their role autonomously and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Job Description

  • Ability to perform their role autonomously and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Monitor student progress, provide guidance, and address any concerns or issues that may arise
  • Prepare regular reports on enrolment, student performance, and campus activities for management review
  • Devise a strategy for effective management delivery of new courses on the scope will be able to handle all documentation and process requirements for student, trainer, location and classroom allocation within the timeline.
  • Have advanced computer literacy and database management skills (Microsoft Office, Moodle, and RTO manager advantageous)
  • Helping students with questions and problems and/or leading them to the correct department
  • Take responsibility for communication with international students, partner colleges, and education agents during the admission process
  • Processing a variety of administrative requests
  • Take a prominent role within the Student Services team with enrolments and inquiries.
  • Schedule meetings
  • Answer phones and screen/direct calls
  • Working with respective managers, supporting students on-campus by advising on aspects such as cultural acclimatization and general academic issues
