The Vertical Biodiversity Fund (VBF) is a non-profit company (a hybrid entity) based in the Eastern Region of Nepal registered in 2017. We are working with farmers, youth, and local communities across a vertical gradient from Koshi Tappu to Kanchenjunga to protect the natural environment and to support farmers to grow organic and nutritious fruits and vegetables. In collaboration with KTK-BELT, the goal of the VBF is to become the Nepali operational entity to run the “Vertical University project” in collaboration with other local partners and stakeholders.

Job Description

Performs general storekeeping and warehouse duties; maintains accurate manual and computer records
Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders, processes the documentation with purchase orders, and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received
Issues monthly stationery and other office supplies for departments and maintains the relevant record ledger
Reconciles monthly stationery and other office supplies record ledger with the computerized record maintained by Asset Management officer
Makes deliveries of requested expendable and non-expendable assets to regional offices and maintains records of all deliveries
Files supply requisitions; assists departments to order their required item and supplies; delivers orders to various departments
Dispatch canceled and damaged items back to vendors as appropriate
Maintains the warehouse, record area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner
Proper maintenance of the Assets Management filling system
Proper inventory list maintenance and its regular reporting to the Assets Manager
Preparation and submission the Assets Management weekly performance report
Perform any other department relevant duties assigned by department seniors
