Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Maintaining and keeping track of receipts, records, and withdrawals of the store.
Receiving, unloading, and shelving supplies.
Examining and reviewing deliveries for discrepancies and damages and reporting to necessary personnel for reimbursements and record keeping
Overseeing and/or exercising general control over all the tools and activities of the store
Ensure the accuracy of the establishment's inventory system by updating records of physical counts, receipts, adjustments, and returns.
Manage inventory/supplies and ensure they are within established minimums and maximums.
Keep up-to-date receipts, records and withdrawals from the warehouse.
Scrutinize all deliveries and ensure that defective or incorrect items are returned
Responsible for packaging, pricing, labeling and returning supplies.
Responsible for rotating inventory and coordinating the handling of excess stock.
Supervising loading and unloading of goods, moving equipment and making minor repairs.
Manage supplier and database relationships and maintain ethical relationships both internally and externally.
Responsible for returning canceled or damaged items back to the supplier as appropriate.
Must have knowledge about inventory management & software
Strong multitasking skills which enable him or her to handle several tasks efficiently at the same time.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Required Age:More than 25 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in inventory management, preferably in the manufacturing/engineering industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Prior experience with forklift operation and other warehouse equipment is a plus
