Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are currently seeking a Storekeeper to join our dynamic team and manage the store operations at our company. This role requires an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of inventory management in the healthcare industry.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and organize incoming supplies, equipment, and other materials
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, usage, and expiration dates
Monitor and order necessary supplies to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained
Supervise and train junior storekeeping staff
Perform routine checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or damages
Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and timely delivery of supplies
Keep the store area clean, organized, and free of hazards
Comply with all safety protocols and regulations
Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and reporting any discrepancies
Ensure all items are properly labeled and stored in designated areas
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned by the management team

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Experience:Less than or equal to 1 year

Other Specification

At least 6 months of experience in inventory management field, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Minimum +2 degree in management or any relevant field
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong knowledge of inventory management software and MS Excel.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
