Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
1 or 2 years of experience in store keeping, inventory control, or record keeping

Receiving the materials from suppliers and recording the quantities received
Plan and perform the stock related duties like: ordering the necessary items, receiving, inspecting, unloading, coding and labeling of materials and various types of equipment in the store
Liaising with concerned authority in placing orders to ensure continuous availability of the materials
Submission of weekly reports on materials received, used and damaged if any
Ensure cleanliness and health safety measures in the store at all times
Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
