About the job

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the proper receipts & records of the goods/stock’s withdrawals from the stockroom 
  • Inspect the deliveries for damage and discrepancies and report those to account for reimbursements and record keeping 
  • Organize inventory and stock rotation to mitigate the stock loss by expiration or obsolescence or shortages & coordinate for disposal, if any surpluses 
  • Coordinate with the production team and Procurement/Logistic team for material moment and handling, movement of equipment, and any necessary minor repairs. 
  • Track the received & issue of raw materials/goods & maintain up-to-date records of every raw material in the ERP/SAP 
  • Keep proper records of material received and updated accordingly in the ERP/SAP as well required management. 
  • Manage proper documentation of store relevant, inventory moment/stocks to maintain inventory & inventory control with level in terms of overstock and understock. 
  • Analyze data to anticipate future needs and suggest ways for cost saving and innovation. 
  • Classify and arrange the materials in FIFO, FEFO terms of their nature (Non – moving, Slow Moving & Fast moving) and materials issue as per their lifetime. 
  • Define, manage, and arrange the assets of the store with proper tags to make the working area spacious and easy to work on with housekeeping and make checklist of it. 
  • Co-ordinate with the department heads and inspect every asset of the company properly. 
  • Ensuring the store compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations. Any other task as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Should have a Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience of minimum 4 years in stores function 
  • Knowledge of SAP, Synergy, MS Office, etc. will be an additional advantage 
  • Should have strong organizational & management skills 
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
