Job Description

  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory, ensuring proper documentation and regular updates to stock levels.
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments of goods, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
  • Issue stock as per requisitions, ensuring proper documentation and maintaining control over inventory flow.
  • Organize and store goods in an orderly manner to optimize space and ensure easy retrieval, following FIFO (First In, First Out) principles where applicable.
  • Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records.
  • Assist in preparing and processing orders for supplies, ensuring timely replenishment of stock.
  • Accurately enter data related to inventory transactions into the inventory management system.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the storage area, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and any issues or discrepancies.
  • Assist internal departments or customers with inquiries related to inventory, ensuring timely and courteous responses.
