Data collection from financial statements of Banks, Finance Companies, Insurance companies, Hydro Companies, and Hotels
Equity Analysis
Valuation
Portfolio Management
Company report writing
Market research and report writing
Admin paperwork required for stock trading
Data gathering from various news sources
Website Update
Ad hoc assistance

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Education:

Applicants are required to have a minimum Bachelor’s degree to work as a stock analyst.

Knowledge:

It is essential to have strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze balance sheets, parse footnotes, and value companies. Working knowledge of investment banking or work experience in an investment banking training program, investment management or consulting companies, etc. will be a plus.

Research skills:

The stock analyst's job requires that they research stocks of companies and other variables that may affect the profitability of the proposed and existing investment. So, it is important for applicants to be able to use primary and secondary data sources to scrutinize investment opportunities across multiple sectors.

Excel skills: Experience in using advanced Excel will be an added advantage.
