Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Staff Nurse - PCL at DCWC Community Hospital plays a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. This position requires a dedicated and proactive individual capable of working in a dynamic healthcare environment. The Staff Nurse will collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of patients.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments.
Monitor and record patients' vital signs and medical histories.
Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Prepare and submit reports on patient care activities.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Participate in community health outreach programs.
Provide training and support to junior nursing staff.
Attend professional development workshops and training sessions as required.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Diploma Certificate

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) in Nursing.
Minimum 2 years of experience in (Preferably in SBA trained)
Must be registered with the Nepal Nursing Council.
Proven experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Compassionate and empathetic nature.
Basic computer skills.

Among many VDCs of the Kavre district, the Nagre Gagarche VDC is one of the most remote of the district and is a junction of Sindhupalchok, Dolakha and Ramechhap districts.
