Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Medical Centre Nurse is responsible for the delivery of competent and professional primary health care service, in collaboration with other AWC clinical staff, supporting the Clinical Practice Manager. She will work with the Clients to ensure their needs and perceptions are met and that GWT is delivering the expected and agreed level of service.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing or BSc Nursing with at least 2 years’ experience in a hospital or community setting post qualification.
Alternatively, for internal promotion, PCL in nursing with at least 6 years working experience since qualification, of which at least 2 years in GWT.
Current unrestricted registration with the Nepal Nursing Council.
Comprehensive knowledge and skills in general nursing care and basic pharmacology.
Prior experience working with I/NGOs and/or geriatric care or palliative care is highly desirable.
