Position: Sr. Specialist- Brand & Communications

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing brand communication strategies:  Define the brand's voice, tone, and message, as well as creating and executing communication campaigns across various channels.
  • Managing media relations and public relations: Building relationships with key media contacts, handling media inquiries, and managing press releases to ensure positive brand coverage.
  • Managing digital presence: Overseeing website content, social media accounts, and email campaigns to maintain a consistent and engaging online presence.
  • Creating compelling written and visual content: Developing a range of communication materials, including newsletters, presentations, and marketing collateral.
  • Collaborating with other departments: Working with product managers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that brand communication efforts are aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitoring and evaluating campaign performance: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts and make data-driven decisions.
  • Managing crisis communication: Developing and implementing strategies to address any negative publicity or crises that may arise. 

Education Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in brand communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for crafting compelling messages and effectively communicating with stakeholders
  • The ability to develop and implement effective brand communication strategies
  • Organizing and managing multiple projects and tasks efficiently
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels and platforms
  • The ability to analyze data and measure campaign performance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Duty Station: Currently Kathmandu but can be placed anywhere as per business needs.
