Job Description

Position Overview

The Sr. Sales Officer is responsible for leading the sales team, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. S/he will develop and implement sales strategies, manage key accounts, and contribute to the overall success of the sales department.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Develop and Implement Strategy:

  • Devise and execute comprehensive sales strategies to not only meet but exceed sales targets for the products.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activities to identify lucrative growth opportunities.
  • Establish sales goals and objectives, and continually track performance metrics within the FMCG segment.
  • Take charge of organizational sales by formulating a Sales plan that encompasses sales, revenue, and expense controls.
  • Sustain sales volume, channel, and product mix by staying updated with supply and demand, evolving trends, economic indicators, and competitor landscape.
  • Develop a comprehensive plan to ensure the achievement of sales targets, aligning with company sales policies and strategies.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while remaining fully informed about new products and competition status.

Sales Team Management:

  • Setting individual sales targets and overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team to ensure a high level of productivity and performance.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance the team's skills and motivation in selling FMCG products.

Strategic Business Development and Customer Relationship Management:

  • Foster enduring customer connections by collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Champion the organization and its products to create a positive market presence.
  • Recognize and initiate contact with prospective clients in the FMCG sector to grow the customer base.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust partnerships with significant FMCG customers and industry allies.
  • Work in synergy with marketing and product teams to devise compelling sales campaigns for FMCG products.

Customer Satisfaction:

  • Address FMCG customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Work with the team to deliver exceptional customer service and satisfaction for FMCG products.
  • Gather FMCG customer feedback and market insights to improve products and services.

Sales Operations and Reporting:

  • Supervise the end-to-end sales process of FMCG products, from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of FMCG sales activities and maintain precise sales records.
  • Monitor the FMCG sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts to the management.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and tailored presentations specifically focused on FMCG sales for management review.
  • Analyse FMCG sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement within the FMCG segment.
  • Conduct sales performance analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of FMCG sales strategies and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Implement best practices to optimize the FMCG sales process and drive revenue growth

Note : Shift Standard (09:00 AM to 05:00 PM) from Sunday to Friday
