Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

You will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle for our medical and non-medical staff. You will ensure the hospital is staffed with high-quality professionals while maintaining strict compliance with healthcare regulations and labor laws.

Core Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Credentialing

Manage the full recruitment cycle for doctors, nursing staff, technicians, and administrative personnel
Execute primary source verification and credentialing for all medical practitioners to ensure compliance with healthcare board standards.
Conduct specialized onboarding that includes hospital-specific protocols, patient safety, and hygiene standards.

Regulatory Compliance & Policy

Ensure the hospital is 100% compliant with local Labor Laws and Ministry of Health regulations.
Develop and update the Employee Handbook specifically tailored to hospital shifts (24/7 operations) and emergency call-out duties.
Maintain all personnel files, ensuring medical licenses and certifications are renewed before expiration.

Performance & Shift Management

Oversee the performance appraisal system, focusing on both clinical competency and patient satisfaction metrics.
Advise Department Heads on roster management, overtime tracking, and burnout prevention strategies for frontline staff.

Payroll & Benefits Administration

End-to-end processing of monthly payroll, including complex calculations for night shifts, holiday premiums, and on-call allowances.
Manage staff insurance plans (Medical, Life, and Professional Indemnity)

Employee Relations in a High-Stress Environment

Act as a mediator for internal conflicts, maintaining a culture of "Patient First" without compromising staff well-being.
Manage disciplinary actions and grievances in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Training & Development

Coordinate mandatory Continuous Medical Education (CME) credits and Basic Life Support (BLS) training for relevant staff.
Identify gaps in soft skills (bedside manner, communication) and organize targeted workshops.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Atleast 5 years in HR, with at least 3 years specifically in a Hospital or Clinical setting (non-negotiable due to the specialized nature of healthcare HR).
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
Deep knowledge of healthcare-specific labor regulations.
Ability to work independently
Strong proficiency in HRIS and Payroll software.
