Job Description

Conduct geological and geotechnical studies to assess the stability and suitability of potential hydro power sites
Provide expert advice on site selection, design, and construction of hydropower projects
Conduct field investigations and collect data on rock and soil conditions
Prepare technical reports and present findings to project stakeholders
Analyze and interpret geological data using various software and tools
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential geological hazards during construction
Collaborate with other departments to ensure project timelines and goals are met
Maintain a thorough understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
Mentor and train junior geologists in the team
Conduct geological risk assessments and develop mitigation plans
Monitor and evaluate the performance of completed projects and provide recommendations for improvement
