Proven experience as an Accounting Supervisor, Senior accountant for at least 3 years
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Awareness of business trends
Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Tally, IMS
Advanced MS Excel skills including Lookups and pivot tables
Accuracy and attention to detail

Semi Qualified CA highly preferred

Job Description

Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
Producing error-free accounting reports and present their results
Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status
Assist with tax audits and tax returns
Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including: month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, debt activity
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
