SQL Database Support - Accounting System

We are seeking a qualified and experienced SQL Database Support professional to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our Accounting System databases. This is a mid-level position that requires a strong background in SQL database administration and a deep understanding of accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SQL databases supporting the Existing System.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolution.
• Collaborate with the development team to optimize database performance.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive financial data.
• Perform routine database maintenance tasks, such as backups and updates.
• Create and modify SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
• Provide technical support to end-users and other relevant stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in SQL database administration, with a focus on accounting systems.
• Strong knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery procedures.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and financial systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with cloud-based database solutions.
• Knowledge of relevant programming languages (e.g., C#).
• Basic knowledge on Accounting System will be plus point
