Budhanilkantha School, a renowned educational institution in Kathmandu, is seeking dedicated and passionate Sports Teachers to join our team. As a Sports Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sports programs, coaching students in various sports disciplines, organizing sports events, and promoting a culture of physical fitness and teamwork among students. You will work collaboratively with other faculty members to integrate sports education with academic learning, fostering holistic development among our students.

Responsibilities:

Design and deliver engaging sports lessons and training sessions in coordination with the school's curriculum and objectives.
Coach students in different sports such as football, basketball, cricket, athletics, and others, focusing on skill development, strategy, and sportsmanship.
Organize intra-school and inter-school sports competitions, tournaments, and events, ensuring fair play and sports ethics.
Assess students' performance, provide constructive feedback, and identify talent for competitive sports teams.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate sports education into academic subjects, promoting interdisciplinary learning and healthy lifestyles.
Maintain sports equipment, facilities, and resources, ensuring safety standards and optimal use.
Foster a positive and inclusive sports environment that encourages participation, teamwork, and respect for diversity.
Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and school management regarding sports activities, achievements, and concerns.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Required Age:More than or equal to 22 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Relevant experience as a Sports Teacher or Coach.
Excellent knowledge and proficiency in various sports disciplines, coaching techniques, and sports psychology.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
Ability to motivate and inspire students to participate in sports activities and pursue excellence.
Organizational skills to plan and coordinate sports events, manage schedules, and maintain records.
Commitment to promoting sportsmanship, fair play, and ethical conduct among students.
Knowledge of sports injury prevention, treatment protocols and first aid.
