Job Description

The Sports Academy In-Charge will oversee the daily operations of the sports academy, ensuring a high-quality training environment for athletes of all levels. This role involves managing staff, coordinating programs, and maintaining facilities to foster a positive and productive atmosphere for sports development.

Key Responsibilities:


1) Management:

  • Supervise and support coaching staff, trainers, and administrative personnel.
  • Develop and implement training programs and schedules.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback.

2) Program Development:

  • Design and organise sports programs tailored to various skill levels.
  • Ensure programs are aligned with the academy’s goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate and update programs based on participant feedback and performance metrics.

3) Facility Oversight:

  • Maintain and manage the sports facilities, ensuring they are clean, safe, and in good repair.
  • Coordinate facility scheduling for training sessions, events, and competitions.

4) Administrative Duties:

  • Handle budgeting, financial planning, and procurement of equipment and supplies.
  • Manage enrolment, registrations, and communications with athletes and parents.
  • Prepare and present reports on academy performance and activities.

5) Community and Public Relations:

  • Promote the academy through outreach, marketing, and community engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local sports organisations and sponsors.
  • Organise and oversee events, tournaments, and workshops.

6) Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure all programs adhere to relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures.
