Job Location: National Office, Lalitpur
Key Responsibilities:
The Sponsorship Program Integration Specialist will coordinate processes that will ensure integration of Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship programming essentials in project designs, and enable WVIN to integrate measurement of Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship key performance indicators within Assessment, Design, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning systems and frameworks. Other responsibilities are:
- Coordinate processes that will ensure and enable integration of Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship programming essentials in project designs
- Coordinate processes that will ensure and enable integrated measurement of Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship key performance indicators within Assessment, Design, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning systems and frameworks
Minimum Qualifications and Experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences/ Development Studies/International Relation or any relevant field with 3-5 year experience in similar or equivalent positions in development sector or sponsorship-focused organization (Master’s degree in the related field preferred)
- Understanding of poverty issues, development theories and sustainable development practices
- Knowledge of World Vision’s Technical Programmes and organizational Policies and standards, including Child Sponsorship standards, LEAP3 and WVIN’s Technical Programmes
- Strong management skills including the ability to plan and budget; Manage performance of partners and contractors; monitor, evaluate and communicate results; think strategically and analytically; solve problems; and make appropriate and timely decisions
- Lead management of all risks associated with integration of Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship in WVIN’s projects/ programmes
- User experience with WV’s data management and information platforms such as STEP and Horizon
- Strong people management skills including performance management and talent development, as well as good facilitation, mentoring and coaching skills
- Lead results management of Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship integration of programming essentials in compliance with WV Partnership’s standards and key performance indicators
- Strong management and facilitation skills in assessment, monitoring, evaluation and reflection processes
- Will be required to travel at least 60% of the time
- Willingness to work outside office hours especially when traveling and working with sponsor/donor visits
- Must have excellent computer literacy & skill of MS office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Good interpersonal, problem-solving & time management skills
- Willingness to work under pressure with tight deadlines and to travel
- Excellent oral and written English & Nepali
- Ready to take initiatives and willing to work under pressure and exhibit a high level of flexibility
- Hold a high level of integrity and honesty, self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently
- Strategic, creative, collaborative and innovative thinking with decision making and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of humanitarian Sector
