Position: Specialist- Wholesale Governance & Controls

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for end-to-end governance, compliance, and strategic financial oversight of Roaming, ILD Voice, and A2P business verticals, ensuring optimal legal structuring, deal analytics, and financial sustainability.
  • Review and provide insights on revenue and cost structures across various partners to drive profitability, efficiency, and revenue enhancement.
  • Maintain and analyze the P&L performance of ILD business verticals, identifying key variance drivers and ensuring alignment with business targets and strategic direction.
  • Manage forecasting, financial accruals, and dispute resolution with wholesale partners, working closely with Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, international agreements, and industry best practices in wholesale governance.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree with 2 years OR Bachelor’s Degree with 4 Years of experience in the wholesale, B2B, or financial governance roles.
  • Strong experience in working with global wholesale partners, operators, and aggregators, particularly in Roaming, ILD Voice, and A2P business segments.
  • Hands-on experience in financial modeling, revenue forecasting, and cost-benefit analysis in telecom wholesale business will be an advantage.
  • Experience in managing wholesale partner contracts, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance frameworks will be an advantage.

Profile:

  • Ability to analyze and interpret A2P traffic trends, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of network flows and routing mechanisms for A2P SMS traffic.
  • Expertise in A2P SMS authentication, customer verification protocols (e.g., OTP-based authentication), and security best practices followed locally and globally.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analytics, reporting tools, and revenue tracking methodologies.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across business, technology, and regulatory teams to drive efficiency and revenue growth.
  • Reviews situations or problems related to the work and presents all perspectives clearly for analysis.
  • Reviews and recommends new solutions or techniques to improve work output
  • Try to review links beyond own work area.
  • Seeking to learn more about other parts of the unit, or function.
  • Proactively seeks out customers' input to obtain feedback on performance.
  • Effectively communicates with others to obtain needed information or support.
  • Adapt rules or recommend alterations in normal procedures to get a job done well.
  • Understands personal strengths & weaknesses and works on constructive feedback to improve one's work performance.

Duty Station: Kathmandu but can be placed anywhere in Nepal as per business needs and future requirements.
