Position: Specialist – Business & Network Analytics

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be responsible (End to End) for assigned business vertical for analytics and reporting requirements as a business partner.
  • End to End Digital analytics covering aspects such as - User Engagement tracking, conversion tracking, customer event tracking, user demographics, real time events tracking, user segmentation, funnel analysis, retention analytics etc.
  • Prepare reports related to different business domains for purposes such as but not limited to measuring operational performance, evaluating impact of business decisions.
  • Being second opinion generators for different business verticals for the products / programs being launched in market, propose different business viable products with the analytical background.
  • Develop and implement scripts or code or any other means for automating data analysis processes.
  • Perform data preparation, cleansing, and visualization of customer and product related data for different purposes.
  • Extract and analyze data from different data sources to generate ad-hoc reports for different purposes including Digtial channels.
  • Responsible for modeling complex industry problems, discovering key insights and identifying opportunities through statistical, algorithmic, mining and visual techniques.
  • Devise and Deliver solutions to loosely defined business problems by leveraging data.
  • Apply business acumen with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly cycle hypothesis in order to come up with value adding solutions.
  • Implement and oversee processes to ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness of all information within responsible domain.
  • Collaborate with cross functional team of Business, IT, data scientists and any other teams on several projects to enhance business analytics capabilities.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, translating business requirements into analytical solutions.
  • Collaborate with Data Science team for data science projects pertaining to related business domain with a definite role in data science projects that require involvement.
  • Devise, Organize and Provide Training for co-workers / stakeholders to help them become more efficient in doing data related jobs.
  • Work with the team leaders and members to recommend ongoing improvements and present the rationale of the findings in an easy to understand terms for the business.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in data analytics, machine learning, and related fields.
  • Other jobs as advised by superiors.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in management, IT, computer science with 4 years of working experience in telecom or digitally intensive multinational organization in field related to business analytics, customer experience or related field OR Master’s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experienced data analytics business partner with end-to-end ownership of analytics and reporting across all platforms.

  •  Skilled in user engagement tracking, funnel and retention analysis, real-time event monitoring, and deriving actionable insights to drive business decisions.
  • Adept at cross-functional collaboration with commercial, IT, and data science teams to deliver strategic, data-driven solutions. 
  • Proven expertise in automating data processes, ensuring data quality, and translating complex data into clear business recommendations.
  •  Passionate about enabling stakeholders through impactful reporting, training, and continuous improvement in digital analytics capabilities.
  • Reviews situations or problems related to the work and presents all perspectives clearly for analysis.
  • Reviews and recommends new solutions or techniques to improve work output
  • Try to review links beyond own work area.
  • Seeking to learn more about other parts of the unit, or function.
  • Proactively seeks out customers' input to obtain feedback on performance.
  • Effectively communicates with others to obtain needed information or support.
  • Adapt rules or recommend alterations in normal procedures to get a job done well.
  • Understands personal strengths & weaknesses and works on constructive feedback to improve one's work performance.

Duty Station:
Kathmandu but can be placed anywhere in Nepal as per business needs or future requirements
