We are looking for an Advanced Software Engineer (SDE-2) who operates beyond ticket execution and actively contributes to product and engineering strategy.

In this role, you will leverage production data as a core input to decision-making—identifying patterns in system behavior, user interactions, and performance metrics to inform what should be built next.

You will work at the intersection of system architecture, product thinking, and business impact—bridging technical execution with commercial outcomes across multiple product areas.

Key Responsibilities

Product Origination & Commercial Impact

Mine Production Intelligence: Treat system data (latency, error distributions, user behavior) as product intelligence. Bring evidence-based proposals to planning: “The data shows X, which means we should build Y.”
Define Success Early: Partner with Product to define measurable success metrics before development begins and track them rigorously post-launch

Technical Leadership & Scalability

Drive Cross-Pod Strategy: Challenge business decisions to ensure technical and commercial alignment before architecture work begins; influence framework selection and design patterns
System Health Ownership: Champion refactoring efforts with clear ROI, focusing on systematic technical debt reduction rather than reactive fixes
Elevate the Bar: Own and improve engineering metrics across delivery quality, production reliability, system health, value creation, and engineering intelligence

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 4 years

Other Specification

Experience: 4.5 – 7+ Years (or equivalent demonstrated impact)

The Stack & Domain Expertise

Languages: Strong proficiency in Go, Java (Spring Boot), Python, or TypeScript/React
Data at Scale: Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including performance tuning, replication, and migration strategies
Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production and AWS multi-service architecture (VPC, IAM, cost optimization)
Observability & CI/CD: Familiarity with OpenTelemetry (traces, metrics, logs) and ownership of CI/CD pipeline performance and reliability
