Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of web and mobile applications.
• Write and execute automated tests using tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or other testing frameworks.
• Test applications across both Android and iOS platforms to ensure compatibility and performance.
• Identify, report, and track bugs using issue tracking tools and collaborate with the development team for timely resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, UX/UI designers) to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with quality standards.
• Work with APIs, web services, and other components to validate end-to-end functionality applications.
• Conduct performance testing, regression testing, and security testing to ensure the stability and scalability of applications.
• Perform detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and other QA processes.
• Actively participate in Agile workflows, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to align QA goals with project objectives.
• Define and maintain best practices for QA processes, including detailed documentation of test cases, results, and defect tracking.
• Continuously improve QA processes and implement best practices to enhance overall team efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on both web and mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience using test automation frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience testing mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms.
• Strong understanding of API testing using tools like Postman or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in collaborative development environments.
• Strong analytical skills to brainstorm solutions and provide actionable recommendations.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues and collaborate effectively across teams.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating QA workflows into deployment processes.
• Experience contributing to brainstorming sessions, particularly around product improvements and user experience.
