Job Description

We are looking for a React Software Engineer (Frontend) who will work in our close-knit Nepal development team. You will be based in our Lalitpur office with colleagues in Nepal, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom, dedicated to ensuring that the Zegal user experience is unbeatable. This is a unique opportunity for a budding software engineer to be part of a team developing a truly innovative and high potential technology service.

Responsibilities:

Day-to-day hands-on work in detailed engineering, coding, documentation, and unit testing of components across the Zegal platform, in particular client-side components in our web applications.
Work with other team members to integrate software into working releases for testing and eventual production deployment.
Ongoing maintenance of components throughout the software lifecycle.
Direction and mentoring of junior members of the team assigned to assist in the development of relevant components.
Work with Project Manager and Chief Technology Officer to plan work around new feature development and optimisation refactoring.
BAU work such as bug fixing, testing and patching our web applications.
Occasional Wordpress web development for the marketing website.
