Job Location: Kathmandu
Department/Unit: Product Development and Research

Experience: 1 year of experience in software development, API management, or application integration. Experience in mobile application development (Android/iOS) is a plus.

Professional Skill Required

  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and API authentication mechanisms. 
  • Experience in frontend frameworks (React Native, Flutter, or similar). 
  • Proficiency in debugging tools and techniques for mobile and web applications. 
  • Familiarity with API documentation tools such as Postman, Swagger, or API Gateway tools. 
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, Git, GITHUB, Collab etc.  
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating between multiple stakeholders (developers, vendors, business teams). 

Requirements

  • Job Details: Software Development Executive is an Officer level contractual position, to be confirmed upon satisfactory completion of performance as per company’s policy
  • Age: Minimum age limit of 21 years and not exceeding 35 years for male and 40 years for female on the last date of submission of application.
  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information technology (IT) or a related field. 

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • API Handling and Management: Manage, integrate, and optimize third-party/partner APIs to ensure smooth delivery and integration.  
  • Work on API gateway configurations, security, and scalability. Collaborate with backend vendors to ensure API endpoints meet functional and security standards. 
  • Assist in front-end mobile application development, ensuring proper API integration. Debug issues and errors related to UI functionality, API responses, and overall app performance. 
  • Work closely with frontend and backend teams to troubleshoot integration issues. 
  • Maintain documentation of recurring issues and resolutions to improve system reliability. 
  • Work closely with the Product Development Team to gather technical requirements for new products and features. 
  • Design and optimize user journeys and workflows based on available service APIs. 
  • Ensure seamless user experience by mapping product features to API functionalities. 
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including system specifications and workflows. 
  • Perform UAT, test features, service additions, and software as per the need. 
  • Develop features, software, products and services as directed. 
  • Assist in evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies for product features and enhancements. 
  • Provide insights into technical challenges and propose solutions during the product development lifecycle. 
  • Validate that systems and integrations meet both functional and technical requirements. 
  • Act as a liaison between the PDR and IT Department to ensure alignment on technical initiatives. 
  • Monitor system performance and provide technical support for products post-launch 
  • Identify opportunities to optimize system performance and recommend improvements. 
  • Maintain detailed records of system configurations, integrations, and changes. 
  • Assist in various platform development and provide support. 
  • Liaise with partners, marketing team, and out-sourced companies to ensure quality and timely delivery of services and products. 
  • Strictly follow company's policies and regulatory Policies/Standards/Guidelines 
  • Report all the activities and tasks to Team Lead
