Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated Primary Social Studies Teacher to inspire young learners and foster an understanding of society, culture, history, geography, and civic responsibilities. The ideal candidate should be committed to creating an engaging learning environment that promotes critical thinking and active participation among students.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons for primary-level students.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
Encourage students to develop knowledge of history, geography, culture, and civic values.
Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the primary level.
Strong knowledge of primary curriculum and child-centered teaching methodologies.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to use creative and experiential teaching strategies.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written); Nepali language skills are an advantage.
Passion for teaching and commitment to holistic student development.
