Job Description

Genius IB World School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Social Studies teacher to join our MYP faculty. The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

Qualifications & Experience:

Academic Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Social Studies, History, Geography, Political Science, or a related field.

Teaching Experience: Prior experience teaching SEE grades (9 & 10) in Nepal. Language Proficiency: Strong command of Nepali

Skills & Attributes:

Familiarity with or willingness to learn the IB MYP framework and its interdisciplinary approach.
Openness to new teaching methodologies, including inquiry-based learning and student-centered instruction.
Ability to foster critical thinking, research skills, and global perspectives among students.
Strong classroom management skills with a focus on student engagement and participation.
Willingness to collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to create meaningful learning experiences.
