Job Description

Reports to: Executive Director

Job Purpose:

Works closely with Global CTO or Executive Director to create engaging content for a company's social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences.

Duties and responsibilities:

Manages company social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms
Engages in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms
Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns
Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content
Manages social media communications
Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
