About the job

Position: Social Media Marketing Intern

Duration: 3 months

Duty Station: Kathmandu, Nepal

Position Summary

We are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our sales and marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in digital marketing and a desire to learn about various online marketing strategies. This internship will provide valuable experience in content creation, social media management, SEO, email marketing, and more.

Duties and Responsibilities

Understand the overall concept of the company, including its brand, customers, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
Assist in the creation and implementation of digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email, and search engines.
Design eye-catching graphics, posts, and other visual content for social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
Write compelling and creative copy for social media posts, blog articles, email newsletters, and other digital content.
Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights.
Conduct keyword research and optimize content for SEO.
Help manage and update the company website and social media profiles.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for digital marketing initiatives.
Support the business development team with daily Marketing tasks.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).
Knowledge of basic SEO principles is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Creative mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
