FHI 360 has been working in Nepal since 1993. Together with the Government of Nepal (GoN), civil society, and the private sector, FHI 360 works collaboratively in the areas of HIV, family planning (FP)/reproductive health (RH), health security, antimicrobial resistance, nutrition, COVID-19 response, procurement, and supply chain management, local capacity strengthening, civil society and media strengthening, governance reform and the environment and climate change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support on the steps required for undertaking the development of business concept including legal/regulatory compliances, business planning and operational planning
  • Prepare a detailed go-to market plan with the costing of service/product, developing a marketing plan, and setting of sales channels
  • Mentoring the organization as they implement the go-to market strategy, helping the organization to track their goals and address challenges as they rise
  • Put together a process of documentation that will include an outline of support provided, lessons learnt, successes, challenges, and way forward on the organization concept

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in growing businesses, or supporting the growth of businesses, developing social enterprises, including within a competitive landscape
  • Strategic thinker, well experienced in developing strategic plans
  • Well networked in business development in Nepal, across multiple sectors
  • Knowledge and experience of funder procurement processes and procedures
  • Relationships with business organizations or marketing organizations in Nepal
  • Experience working with community-based organizations and sustainability financing will be an added advantage
