Language required: English, Nepali and other local languages are preferable contextual to the Jajarkot and West Rukum

Job Description

National Society for Earthquake Technology-Nepal (NSET) is implementing “USAID Education Emergency Response Project” with the funding support from USAID Nepal for the period of 2024 to 2027. The main objective is to support restoration and recovery of the education system in earthquake affected areas of Jajarkot and Rukum West and contribute towards building resilience of the education system. NSET seeks applications for the following positions from eligible candidates:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with local governments, schoolteachers, school management committee and communities at municipal level during the Transitional Learning Center (TLC) construction.
  • Raising public awareness regarding safe construction amongst local governments, schoolteachers, school management committee and communities at municipal level.
  • Coordinate and work closely with the concerned social institutions and organizations 
  • Solving the social issues if any   
  • Produce written reports on social issues in the field 
  • Preparation of case study and success story on best practice 
  • Performing other duties as assigned
