Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a motivated Resident Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Hydropower Construction and possess the necessary skills to effectively manage and oversee a variety of projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensuring adherence to schedule and quality standards.
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction workers, sub-contractors, and other team members.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, work schedules, and budget.
Inspect construction materials and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
Resolve any technical issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce safety regulations on site.
Keep updated on industry developments and regulations related to construction.
Train and mentor junior members of the construction team.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 5 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field .
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Hydropower construction or related field (if candidate has experience of full completion of at least One full Hydropower project, lower years of experience can be considered.)
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
