This training is for Accounts Officers, Finance Managers, and similar roles in banks, financial institutions, public and private companies, and NGOs/INGOs involved in tax and financial compliance.
Taxes are payments made by individuals and businesses to the government. These funds are used to provide important public services and support development across local, provincial, and national levels. Being tax-compliant means following all the rules—filing returns properly, paying taxes on time, and using any tax exemptions or reliefs that apply.
With the recent Budget announcement for Income Year 2082/83, several new and progressive changes have been made to Nepal's tax system. If implemented well, these updates can help promote economic growth and make the tax process easier for everyone.
This training is designed to help participants clearly understand the key principles of income tax and the major updates introduced through the Finance Bill 2082. The sessions will provide practical insights into how these changes affect individuals, businesses, and overall tax compliance.
