Roles and responsibilities of this job

We’re looking for a proactive and experienced SEO Strategist to join our team and take ownership of SEO projects across multiple clients.

This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, think strategically, plan and manage SEO projects, and confidently turn SEO opportunities into actionable strategies. You should be comfortable working across SEO as well as the growing area of AI Search Optimisation, AEO and GEO.

The successful candidate must have the capacity and willingness to work remotely using their own devices.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage comprehensive SEO strategies for multiple client websites
Take ownership of SEO projects from planning through to implementation and reporting
Conduct technical SEO audits and identify opportunities for website improvement
Develop keyword strategies, content plans, internal linking strategies and on-page optimisation plans
Analyse organic search performance using Google Search Console, GA4 and SEO tools
Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversions and overall SEO performance
Identify opportunities to improve local SEO visibility, including Google Business Profile optimisation
Develop and implement AI Search Optimisation strategies, including AEO and GEO
Optimise websites for AI Overviews, Google AI search experiences, ChatGPT and other AI-driven search platforms
Conduct competitor and SERP analysis to identify growth opportunities
Provide strategic recommendations based on data, search trends and client objectives
Work collaboratively with content, web development and marketing teams to implement SEO recommendations

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably at a mid to senior level
Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO, content strategy and local SEO
Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple SEO projects
Ability to create SEO strategies and translate them into clear, actionable plans
Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent and SERP analysis
Experience with AI Search Optimisation, AEO, GEO or Generative Engine Optimisation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
Willingness and ability to work from home using your own devices is essential

The ideal candidate should be able to look at a client's website, understand the business objectives, identify the biggest SEO opportunities, create a plan, prioritise the work and take ownership of getting it done.

You should be curious about how search is changing and have a genuine interest in AI search, AEO, GEO and the future of organic visibility.

Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Sunday – Friday
