As our SEO Specialist & Content Strategist, you will architect and optimize Sublime Trails’ digital presence. Your core focus is data analysis, search intent mapping, and workflow automation to capture high-intent travel traffic.

You will lead our organic growth engine—leveraging smart automation and data-driven insights to ensure our destination guides, itineraries, and landing pages consistently outrank the competition. The ideal candidate balances technical SEO architecture with a sharp editorial eye, bringing a strong narrative voice to help polish critical landing pages or refine brand messaging when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Content Mapping: Plan and execute comprehensive content hubs, silo architectures, and internal linking strategies for our destination markets.
Advanced Keyword Research: Identify high-value, long-tail travel keywords, transactional intent terms, seasonal search trends, and topical authority gaps.
Search Intent Analysis: Map user queries to exact stages of the travel booking funnel to guide the creative production pipeline.
Technical SEO Oversight: Audit and optimize site architecture, URL structures, XML sitemaps, Core Web Vitals, and travel-specific schema markup.
Workflow Automation: Implement advanced software tools and automated workflows to streamline programmatic SEO, metadata deployment, and content tracking.
Performance Tracking & Analytics: Monitor, analyze, and report on organic traffic, conversion rates, and keyword rankings using GA4 and Google Search Console.
Competitor Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive reverse engineering of competitor SEO frameworks and market share tactics.
Content Performance Audits: Regularly evaluate existing web pages to identify content decay and provide optimization briefs for updates or consolidation.

Experience: 2+ years of proven success in SEO and content marketing strategy, ideally within the travel, tourism, or e-commerce sectors.
Analytics Mastery: Expert-level capability in Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Looker Studio dashboard creation.
SEO Tool Expertise: Deep familiarity with enterprise search platforms like Semrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Screaming Frog.
Technical SEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of crawling, indexing, HTML, CSS, structured data, and how modern search engines parse dynamic content.
Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage content calendars and pipeline workflows, prioritizing high-level strategy over daily content execution.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Communications, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Plus Skills

AI & Automation Fluency: Familiarity with scaling workflows or content frameworks using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) via prompt engineering or API automations.
Editorial & Copywriting Background: A sharp editorial eye and background in travel writing. While you aren't the primary writer, the ability to weave high-level SEO strategy into compelling, authentic travel narratives is highly valued.
