Overview

Design is of essential and priority nature in Bottle, it is not considered or placed as a nice to have feature rather is a very important part of how we design products this makes the design team an important pillar in our organization.

You’ll be responsible to work with BAs and Product Owners to translate the requirements into meaningful solutions to solve the specific pain-points noted by the requirement gathering team. Your role will mostly consists of solving problem at a product level, by documenting the possible solutions and iterating based on the discussion with owners and clients.

You will be required to have an open-minded discussion to brainstorm on the solutions and recommend better product design, you’ll be working with all the stakeholders to design and align product roadmap with product goals.

Experience:

• 5-8 Years of Hands-on Professional Experience.
• Successful completion of ideation, execution, and delivery of 3 Enterprise-Grade/Consumer Applications.
• Documentation and verification of Pain-Points Identification and Edge UseCases.
• Fluency in Design System, Component Management and Design-Engineering collaboration.
• Extremely proactive with Design Handoffs and peer onboarding.

Responsibilities

Design System:

• Familiar with Popular Design System such as Ant Design and Material Design, as well as alignment with Custom UI Systems from world class design firms.
• Customize the stable, tested and community powered design system in accordance to the identified solution.

User Research:

• Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Analyze data and insights to inform design decisions.

Information Architecture:

• Define and organize content, features, and functionality to create clear user flows and structures.

Wireframing and Prototyping:

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts and interactions.
• Gather feedback and iterate on designs based on user testing and stakeholder input.

Interaction Design:

• Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces with a focus on usability and accessibility.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility and provide guidance during implementation.

Usability Testing:

• Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback on designs.
• Use findings to make data-driven improvements to the user experience.

Bottle Design Systems:

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides of Bottle’s shared resource.
• Ensure design consistency across products and platforms.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align design with business goals.
• Effectively communicate design decisions and rationale.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., UX Design, Interaction Design, HumanComputer Interaction).
• Proven experience as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
• Knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Understanding of front-end development and its impact on design (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) along with popular Design Systems.
• Familiarity with usability testing and user research methodologies.
• Experience in creating and maintaining design systems is a plus.
