Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Compiling and analysing financial information to prepare tax returns and other reports
Reviewing/preparing tax returns and work-papers and review/calculate estimated tax payments as required
Reconciling tax accounts, prepare documentation and appropriate journal entries
Interacting with various other departments within the firm regarding tax compliance, statutory filings, and other tax related matters relating to operations requirements
Keeping abreast of international tax law changes, researches tax issues using tax research tools, and documents findings
The management of a portfolio of clients
Monitoring tax return process and assist with development of junior staff
Preparing P11d's
Advising clients on tax implications and deadlines.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:Not Required

Other Specification

ACCA/ CA/ CPA/ MBA qualified/semi-qualified with extensive personal and corporate tax experience
Strong technical experience, gained within a tax department, audit firm and/or financial accounting team for UK Clients
Maintain up to date knowledge of tax and tax legislation across the board
Excellent time management skills and being able to deliver engagements under pressure to strict deadlines
Team management experience
Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately at all levels, both within and outside the firm

Desirable Skills:

Have basic knowledge of VT and IRIS
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, with excellent Excel spreadsheet skill
Experience of working with companies in UK
