Job Description

Cedar Gate Services is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Java) to join our Data Department.

Responsibilities:

Developing backend components and APIs using Java, including job engines with Map-reduce and Hadoop
Integrating the AWS framework and implementing its services as required
Creating reusable and testable modules and components
Writing Python scripts for generic functions or procedures
Implementing non-blocking code and utilizing advanced techniques like multi-threading
Analyzing existing systems, providing estimates, and modifying them based on requirements
Working with SQL databases based on provided design documents
Cooperating with the cross-team developers in the process of building modules
Validating user actions on the client-side and delivering responsive feedback
Writing comprehensive unit tests and performing TDD tasks
Participating in team mentoring, conducting code reviews, and optimizing code
Ensuring high performance and stability
