Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Software Development Engineer at SparkTales. The role involves working on back-end web development, software development, and programming tasks focusing on object-oriented programming (OOP). The Senior Software Development Engineer will be responsible for architecting and building scalable software solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Computer Science and Software Development skills
• Back-End Web Development expertise
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Strong programming skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in Agile development methodologies
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
•  Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

•  5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
