We are looking to hire an experienced senior software developer to head up our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of new software systems. You may also be required to update existing software and conduct feasibility studies on company systems. While your role will be managerial in nature, you will also be expected to code applications, create reports, and mentor the junior developers.

Senior Software Developer Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop high performance software libraries and APIs
• Implement highly scalable, performant, fault tolerant processing systems in an AWS environment
• Work with our teams to gather detailed requirements for new products, services & tools.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and introduce them as needed
• Analyze, debug and fix defects
• Be focused, passionate, and strive to find simple solutions to complex problems
• Have previous design/development experience with large-scale production systems and/or data platforms with knowledge of high availability cloud-based applications
• Possess strong troubleshooting, code optimization and refactoring skills.
• Be comfortable working in a dynamic environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 2 years full-time work experience in .NET technologies
• Strong ability to build RESTful services in C# with .NET/.NET Core, MVC
• Experience working on the JavaScript frameworks (like: Angular Js,  jQuery, JavaScript), Web Markup Languages (HTML/HTML5, XML) and Style Sheet Language (CSS/CSS3) Bootstrap
• Proficient in SQL and relational database concepts
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
• Proficient in implementing automated unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning using GIT/SVN
• Experience working on AWS based solutions.
