Job Description

The objective of this role :

  • Development of sales strategy and its execution with the support of the sales team for the regular sales of products and smooth cash collection for the overall sustainability and growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Sales Research for Finding Potential Clients and Customers Interest: Conduct Sales research to identify the customers' and clients' opinions on our products, business opportunities, and customer needs for sales of the product. Also find potential clients and their interests & requirements.
  • Develop Sales Strategy: Based on the Sales research and the company’s principal & growth plan, develop detailed sales strategies for short to long-term with prospective sectors & sales areas, achievable sales targets, and milestones.
  • Generate Sales Leads & Turn Leads into Sales: Collaborate with the marketing team to explore markets, search for sales opportunities, build strong relationships with prospective clients within and outside Kathmandu Valley, and generate sales leads. And turn the generated leads into sales.
  • Lead Sales Team & Achieve Sales Target: Lead the sales team, implement effective sales strategies, follow up on sales leads, and achieve the company’s sales targets. For the starting phase, there will be 2-3 members in the sales team including a senior sales officer. Manage the big clients like wholesalers, dealers and distributors, big hardware & construction companies etc. by yourself and guide the junior sales team to manage small and retail clients.
  • Participate & Present in Product Promotion Events: Participate & present products in Product Launch Events, Product Showcase Events & Expo, Training & Awareness Events for generating sales lead and sales the boards.
  • Provide the best Client & Customer Experience that lasts long: As sales team are the one who will be in touch with clients & customers in the long run, so take responsibility for maintaining the best customer experience to have long-term relationships with clients through.
  • Monitoring Cashflow and Credit: Monitor sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement based on allocated areas. Monitor the credits in the market and ensure smooth & timely cash collection from the market.
  • Feedback collection from the market: Lead the sales team to collect feedback from the market regarding the use and effectiveness of products.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities to management.
